Meals are provided by Warminster School, who cook our delicious school meals to order in line with the Nutritional Standards for UK schools.
As parents are aware, these lunches are free for all children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 under the government’s Universal Infant Free School Meals Scheme. Meals will need to be ordered in advance from the menus provided, as described below.
Parents of children in years 3, 4, 5 and 6 have the option of purchasing meals for their children at the subsidised cost of £2.30. If you think you may be entitled to free school meals for your children because you receive qualifying benefits, please contact the school office for an application form.
A new menu will be sent to you every week, and there will be two choices each day, one of which is vegetarian. There is usually a fish option on a Friday.
All meals must be ordered and paid for (KS2 children) in advance – by 9.30am on Thursday for the following week. Please see the menu/order form for more information about how to place orders.
Alternatively, children may bring a packed lunch.
